Meet Our Pastor

Send A Prayer request

Meet Pastor Thomas Almanza, a devoted follower of Christ with a passion for serving others. Tom’s journey of faith began as an 18-year-old college student, two days after the tragic events of September 11th, 2001, when he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ to be his Savior. Since then, he has committed his life to living out the Gospel and sharing the love of Christ with those around him.

Before entering full-time ministry, he founded and operated a small business in Northwest Indiana. Through this experience, he learned valuable lessons about leadership, perseverance, and the importance of hard work.

Though Tom enjoys business, his heart is always set on serving God in ministry. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Theology and a Master of Arts degree in Bible from Fairhaven Baptist College and completed a 3-year ministry internship.

Upon moving to York County, Tom served as an Assistant Pastor at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Brogue, PA, and eventually helped launch Greater York Baptist Church in East York.

Tom also runs a small business in York County. He is a gifted preacher and teacher, committed to sharing the Gospel and helping others grow in their faith. Tom’s unique combination of business experience and ministry training makes him a valuable asset to both the church and the local community.

Pastor Tom is always seeking to serve others and make a positive impact in the world. Whether he is preaching from the pulpit or ministering in people’s homes, Tom’s focus is on using his gifts and talents to glorify God and make a difference in the lives of those he encounters.

Tom is happily married to his wife, Holly, and the father of five beautiful daughters. Holly is a licensed cosmetologist and serves alongside Tom in ministry. Together, they are committed to raising their family in the ways of the Lord and being a shining example of God’s love to those around them.

In his free time, Tom enjoys reading, writing children’s books, classical music, outdoor activities, DIY Projects, Penn State Wrestling, and Chicago Sports.
